7-Day Guarantee (Except “AS-IS” Items): All items you win come with our 7-day no-surprises guarantee (unless marked “AS-IS” in the title). This means if your item was misrepresented in the listing, has a hidden manufacturer defect, or fails within the first 7 days of you receiving it, we’ve got you covered. Simply put, what you see is what you should get – and if not, just let us know within that first week and we’ll take care of it.

Honest Mistakes & Our Accountability: We pride ourselves on careful inspections, but let’s face it – we’re only human (for now) and occasional mistakes can happen. Maybe a flaw slipped past us or a detail ended up wrong in the description. If that happens, YouBid Auctions takes full responsibility. We totally understand discovering an issue can be frustrating, so we’re here to own our mistake and set things right with a smile. You’ll always get a sincere apology and a swift plan of action from our team.

Our Replace-or-Refund Promise: In cases where there’s an error in the listing or a covered issue with your item, we’ll make it right quickly and hassle-free. How? Easy 7-Day Return Window: If something’s not right, just let us know within 7 days of picking up your item or having it delivered. This 7-day return window gives you a full week to inspect and test your new treasure. We think that’s plenty of time to make sure everything is A-OK. There’s no rush – take your time to verify your item is exactly as expected. If it isn’t, contacting us by day 7 is the key so we can help you promptly. (After 7 days, we’ll assume you’re happy and the sale will be final.)

Convenient Return Process: Worried about the return process? Don’t be! We’ve made the return process as convenient as possible:

If your item was delivered via YouBid’s Local Delivery service, we’ll come pick it up from you if a return is needed. That’s right – we handle the heavy lifting/driving so you don’t have to. Just let us know when and where, and we’ll swing by to collect the item, free of charge.

If you picked up the item yourself (or had it shipped by other means), then returning it is on you – but we try to keep it easy. Simply bring the item back to the original pickup location (the same place where you first got it). We’ll coordinate with you to find a convenient time for drop-off. Either way, we’ll work with you to make sure the return hand-off is straightforward and fits your schedule.

Reasons We May Not Issue a Refund
While we stand by our products and are committed to resolving any issues that arise, there are a few situations where we cannot issue a refund:

Improper Use: If the item is used in a way that wasn’t intended by the manufacturer (such as a piece of furniture being used outdoors when it’s meant for indoor use only, or getting a product wet that wasn't meant for water), we won’t be able to offer a refund. We encourage all our customers to use items according to their manufacturer’s instructions to ensure the longevity and functionality of your purchase.

Improper Installation or Assembly: If the item was installed or assembled incorrectly and that caused damage or failure, a refund will not be issued. We highly recommend following the manufacturer’s guidelines or contacting a professional to help with installation if needed.

Wear and Tear from Use: While we’ll always handle manufacturer defects and misrepresentation, normal wear and tear from regular use isn’t covered by our policy. We encourage you to treat your purchases with care so they stay in great shape through the 7-day period.

Returned in a Different Condition: To be eligible for a refund or replacement, items must be returned in the same condition they were received. This includes any original packaging, tags, or accessories that were part of the purchase. Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or accidental damage will void the warranty. If the item has been damaged or altered in any way after delivery, a refund may not be possible.

“AS-IS” Items: If you see “AS-IS” in an item’s title, that means the item is being sold as-is, with all its quirks, and is a final sale. **AS-IS items are not eligible for return or refund. We mark these listings clearly, so you’ll always know when an item doesn’t include our 7-day guarantee. When you bid on an AS-IS item, you’re accepting it in whatever condition it’s in (good or bad) without any promise of a return. Please bid accordingly on these items – we want to be transparent so you can make an informed decision. (Think of “AS-IS” items as the adventurous treasure-hunt finds: they might be a great deal, but they come with a little more risk.)

Customer Responsibility: It’s important to ensure the item you’re bidding on meets your needs. By winning a bid, but later deciding it wasn’t what you wanted, you are essentially taking the opportunity to win the item away from someone else. This is not fair to other buyers and we take our responsibility in this matter seriously, you should too. *Double-check size, color, shape, and model before bidding to avoid issues later.
